Kizer Cutlery KI4479 Kala by Scot Matsuoka, 3.74″ S35VN Plain Blade, Titanium Handle
The Ki4479 Kala flipper by Kizer Cutlery is a collaborative project between Kizer and custom knifemaker Scot Matsuoka of Koloa Duck Knives. It features a 3.75″ drop point blade made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with an ever-so-slight recurve to the edge. The bearing pivot system allows for smooth blade opening, as with all Kizer knives. The ergonomics are absolutely fantastic and the thin profile of the matte silver finished titanium handle makes this knife carry very discreetly in the pocket. The milled hole pattern matches the custom which it is based off of extremely well. It features a lockbar overtravel prevention mechanism, replaceable steel insert and is a great sized folder for every task that is built with a quality anyone can appreciate. The Kala comes in a Digital Camo zip up carrying case with a Kizer Cleaning cloth.
